A plan you can check
Each coloured piece has a run number that matches your list. The offcut is what remains after those blanks, the saw cuts and unusable stock ends. Added fitting length and spare boards are shown separately.
Long runs are never split automatically. Choose longer stock, or decide your joint position and list the resulting pieces with the necessary overlap. Do not combine different profiles, thicknesses or finishes in one plan.
Measure and dry-fit real corners before final cuts. This calculator allocates rectangular blanks; it does not set mitre angles or account for wood grain, defects or installation tolerances beyond the allowances you enter.
See the Home Depot installation guide for coping, mitres and fitting. For the floor itself, use our laminate flooring planner.
For four mitred rails around glass or a mat, use the picture frame cutting planner to account for rabbet width and fitting clearance.
