Split strategy
Use an even pace or make the second half faster while keeping the same finish time.

Running pace, time, and distance calculator
Choose the unknown value, then enter the other two. The calculator keeps one internal kilometer-based model while displaying pace and distance in your selected units.
Mile and kilometer pace
Switch distance and pace units independently. See minutes per kilometer, minutes per mile, kilometers per hour, miles per hour, and equivalent treadmill speed.
Race split planner
Build even splits or a controlled negative split where the second half is faster. Segment and cumulative times still add to the selected finish time.
Race finish estimates
Same-pace estimates are simple projections for 5K, 10K, half marathon, and marathon. Terrain, fatigue, weather, fueling, and fitness can change actual results.
Frequently asked questions
How is running pace calculated?
Divide total time by distance. A 50-minute 10K equals 5:00 per kilometer.
How do I convert min/km to min/mile?
Multiply seconds per kilometer by 1.609344. Speed is the inverse: 3,600 divided by pace seconds.
What is a negative split?
A negative split means completing the second half faster than the first. The planner adjusts both halves while preserving total finish time.
Are race predictions guaranteed?
No. They hold pace constant and do not model fatigue, elevation, weather, surfaces, aid stops, or training status.
